Dinosaur Pasta Pumpkin with tomato sauce, lentils and basil

For 2 persons - Preparation time: 15 min.


  1. Bring a generous amount of water to boil with a pinch of salt
  2. Heat some olive oil in a cooking pot.
  3. Chop the onion finely and stew it.
  4. Add the tomato pasta. Stir together.
  5. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Add to the tomato sauce.
  6. Drain the lentils. Rinse with cold water and drain.
  7. Add the lentils to the sauce. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Cook the pasta al dente in the water (see packaging). Drain the dinosaur pasta and rinse briefly under cold running water. Drain in a colander.
  9. Stir the basil leaves into the tomato sauce.
  10. Add the dino pasta to the sauce.

  • 250g Kids Dinosaur shaped Pasta Pumpkin
  • 1 small onion
  • 500 ml of tomato passata
  • 30 g cherry tomatoes
  • 150 g canned lentils
  • 2 handfuls of fresh basil
  • olive oil
  • pepper
  • salt
